One might say that real estate, development, and an entrepreneurial spirit are in Austin Tenpenny’s DNA. Throughout Austin’s life, he has been surrounded by a family of hard-working entrepreneurs. On one side of his family his grandfather was a home builder, and his grandmother a real estate agent. On the other side, his grandfather was a mechanic who owned and operated a small business for over 40 years. So naturally, Austin discovered early in life that it was destiny to follow a family tradition.
Austin graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Construction Management, with a focus in residential building and land development.
Austin has worked in both commercial and residential building and has been involved in real estate development for most of his life. After college, Austin started his career working for a prominent multi-family developer and general contractor and supervised the construction of apartment complexes. Austin’s start in the multifamily industry was a catalyst to his success in molding aDoor into what it is today. Under his leadership, aDoor has executed over $180 million of real estate investment, development, home building, and leasing transactions across Northwest Florida.
When not at work, you can find Austin: golfing, playing tennis, and being with his wife and 3 children.
